The Matild Country Hotel (formerly Equital) has been existing since 2007 in Nemesvita. Previously, there was nothing but reeds here. In 2006, the first buildings were built, the pastures and the inner garden were created, in where we sowed the grass ourselves in November 2006. This is our love project, which we have been running every day ever since, with two children and a few colleagues expanded. We separated the catering and the equestrian “business” in the name a few years ago, but both are still our property. The Matild Country Hotel and Equital Equestrian Center they have been unique ever since.

Why do we say this?

We have been welcoming equestrian and non-equestrian guests for almost 20 years.

We represent classic values: that is, while we constantly monitor the needs of our guests, we do not follow the current – temporary – market trends. Rather, we believe in long-term, timeless values and that everything is what it seems. At the same time, however, we are always able to develop and renew.

As, the owners, we also take part in the daily work.

We have a 16-hectare area just 3 kilometers from Lake Balaton.

Accommodation and horseback riding with this standard together cannot be found anywhere else in the Balaton Uplands.  There are barely any in Hungary as well.

We have a location where guests can find a lot of programs and sights within a 30-kilometer radius. Meanwhile, we are in the neighborhood of a quiet little village, where the crowds of the coastline is unfelt, even in the summer season.

Over the past 20 years, we have consistently adapted to the needs of our clientele, which is why we have created our apartments and wellness services that are suitable for long-term holidays, and we are adjusting the food selection of our restaurant year by year.
